Office!
Pretending to the whole world how involved you are with your work and commitments towards your unknown yet beloved clients, sitting somewhere in their neat AC cabin and day and night thinking of cutting down cost to make his business looks more profitable.
Just when you think you are the only one pretending here and everybody else is working you tend to look up and see around to derive some inspiration from your colleagues but alas!
What you see is unfortunately is no surprise to you (though you pray to get that surprise someday)
Your colleagues are busy sending people good will messages/forwards, chatting with their pseudo long lost friends sitting in adjacent cabins and yet thinking of promotions, pay hikes and ill inhuman management practices prevalent in their organization.
I wonder Y cant they just give us the freedom to come/leave at our own will.
They do assert they believe in us, in our credibility for our work/commitment, in our ability to bring business for them then Y cant they just show it in their well documented policies as well and act accordingly.
Y cant they just believe in what they put forward.
Y is everything so synthetic and over the top, what kind of culture/decorum are they trying to inculcate when both sides are just making up the so called “Relationship”.
I believe there’s nothing wrong but we/even companies are just trying not to acknowledge the power of
“Self Discipline”
Let us take ownership of ourselves
Will put up one of my favorite quote here again by JIM MORRISON to summaries my point
“The most important kind of freedom is to be what you really are. You trade in your reality for a role. You give up your ability to feel, and in exchange, put on a mask.”

Silence..
Sounds a bit amusing but this conversation holds great power I believe.
It’s an experience in itself.
People come and people go, they make talks to show Who they are and what they can do, how did they reach here and where do they finally intend to go but ever felt the pleasure of not talking and yet knowing a person. What makes an individual is a question I seek answers to through this blog.
Is it his work, is it his visibility in the social framework or is it just him.
Does the face have so much relevance as the value attached to it? What if I don’t have any face, what if I failed to reach those milestones which otherwise anybody of my age would have easily reached and what if I am striving hard to keep myself away from that ease defined yet common life?
I believe Talking is just a way to sell. But what if you are not on sale/display.
Will you be able to sustain yourself on your own for the lifetime?
This elucidated definition of talking was just to give an insight into what does a normal conversation will do, that’s it will either help you to sell or buy something.
On the other hand silent conversation has nothing to offer but is always demanding.
This talk is the most selfish pitch an individual makes with a partner wherein he has nothing else to offer but himself. (No education/no attractive job profile/No hefty bank balance…NOTHING)

Opinion
Power of opinion!
The Art/Skill to form Opinion! To me is the highest academic degree one need to achieve to differentiate oneself from the multitude of demonstrated knowledge seeker. It takes much more pain and hard work to form an opinion then to blindly follow dossier verified by eminent personalities. The former is a challenge and the latter a submission. There’s no risk involved in following the proven and verified stigmas, no excitement, no challenge and no madness. With the dawn of networking I see a very thin line between visible world and intelligible world these days. To make it a bit more clear I would like to put it as, visible world comprises of high earning and reputed technocrats who knows the art to gulp down things as quickly as possible ‘coz they know they are on a RUN (Run from their own self which sometime we tend to take pride in) and the latter category includes people who don’t believe in gulping down things but are very fond of chewing it slowly and steadily to get what it is supposed to deliver i.e. NUTRIENT for mind.
Knowledge for them is not the goal but simply a means to reach to their goal of confronting the limitations of the same. Opinion has no sound basis but have the profundity of persuasiveness; it’s an upshot of an active mind. It nurtures the art of astute vision.
So, dare to dream and voice it out, no matter how bizarre it is, it will help to give a jolt to those somnolent nerves resting under the blanket of knowledge and will make ones presence felt!!!
Lets start this practice with the same blog you are reading..voice it out how crazy/good/insane/stupid this blog is.:)

Equivocality vs. Ambiguity
Equivocality vs. Ambiguity
The former is said to be an art, tact, a skill and the latter a weakness, but my mind perceives it the other way round. Equivocality means you use your skills to avoid buying trouble for yourself and satiate both the warring sides with your indispensable support (you can imagine how lame it sounds ‘coz you don’t even know if you could support urself) and you eventually emerge out as a contented SOUL puffed up with shallow confidence to show to the world how good Manager you are!! But deep inside you know you just managed to bluff yourself and redefined indecisiveness in a more socially accepted expression, on the other hand ambiguity is that doubt in your mind which propels you to think ‘coz you don’t have the tact to buy time for yourselves it’s like a “DO or Die “ situation for you, people know about your crudeness and that is why you need to work on it.
So, tell me who’s at winning side the equivocalist or an ambiguous person. The crux of the matter is lets not be myopic and dichotomic in our approach to tackle life, learning is a part of growing, very cliché but rightly said after all winners also got the rules learned from the same society they just excelled in gauging and implementing the right ones. Learn to take a stand and be brave to accept and work on your weakness.
P.S. Arun now the following article is for you
· Madoff sentenced to 150 yrs imprisonment
The tact costed him his life and the society that applauded his skill first was the one who suffered most from it. So, who’s at fault here the society or Madoff! Both faced their share of penalty I guess. Now for the ones, who haven’t got it yet, Madoff falls into the category of being a consummate equivocalist and the society falls into the category of ambiguists. Both of them fell prey to each other and hence clogged the learning process. The business world is particularly vulnerable to this predicament, ‘coz fates are these days run by volatile bull and bears giving little time to THINK.

a BReak!
Yet again u keep on slogging and asking for a break. Whos going to come and give you those break, which you crave for every now and den.
By break I obviously don mean momentarily breaks but the break from monotonous race to beat others, to be always at the forefront. To be Ahead!
Is der any way where we can relax and do things, which we want to do unmindful of the results (productive or unproductive) it is going to bear in the end?
Not that anyone can stop us from pursuing it but the shear fear of the unproductiveness and futility of the whole job makes it sound relegate. There’s no time to waste and still so much of time to kill feigning its productiveness. The moment you think you have achieved what you’ve been working for, u realize others have already surpassed you and have left one more milestone to cover and the journey continues.
Someone is moving very fast, but whos this someone.
Is this race a real one or m I jus running alone. Trying to catch up with the never-ending desires of my mind, whos dictating my moves and ordering me to run. I wonder if we have different ambitions or each one of us is just trying to jus RUN.
Is being ambitious is to mean never giving up or rather I should put it as, never asking for a break. Is being ambitious always relative.
(Too many questions…I think I need a break here. Yes! I mean the momentary one )

And the wall came down!
What defines success?
The ultimate destination or the path taken..
It’s placement season in our campus and fortunately most of us got a job( not the dream jobs as dey call it, prolly got this name coz huge possessions define dreams here).
Fair enough, some people got handsome packages and some still thriving to get one (m amongst dem!)
Sat for like six odd companies already and still waiting for my lucky day to come..
Does that mean I lack the substance, or does it mean those who got thru just got lucky, coz no matter how much I try I don’t see most of dem (fortunately not all of dem) better den me..(Mite sound a bit candid!)
But whose going to believe dis. After all dey got the jobs not me. They have reached the destination earlier, whatever may be the path taken!
It seems the wall which I thought will keep me at bay with these covertly talented people is just crumbling down. I don’t know what is making me feel more sick the crumbling of wall (obviously the construction material for the wall is me:me:me(2:4:8)..cant help it studying hard for the placements..!)..or the BIG REJECTIONS!
Whatever it may be, I think I still have a long way to cover, the path is going to get lonelier but as it is rightly said…if its not killing you it’s making you stronger. I hope I become stronger with every setback I face coz I don want the wall to crumble down..!
